Kolkata: An official of the cricket foundation run by former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly lodged a complaint with the Thakurpukur police on Thursday against another official for pocketing around Rs 4.29 lakh. Kinjal Basu Roy Chowdhury, business development manager of Sourav Ganguly Foundation and Cricket School, accused Anirban Sen Chowdhury, honorary secretary of Sourav Ganguly Foundation, the parent organisation, of collecting Rs 30,000 from Oriental Public School in Kalyani, Rs 50,000 from GD Goenka Public School, and Rs 3,49,000 from LMET School in the name of the organisation and keeping it in his bank account, said deputy commissioner of police (south west) Meeraj Khalid.
