Prakash Ambedkar targets government, union minister
Nagpur: Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief and senior leader Prakash Ambedkar on Sunday fired a salvo against the NDA government and questioned the role of Union minister for transport, shipping and Ganga rejuvenation, Nitin Gadkari and his silence in Cabinet which had discussed the prior receipt of intelligence inputs about the attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama.
Citing intelligence inputs, Mr Ambedkar said that the government failed to check the details despite receiving specific information. The matter was also discussed in the Union Cabinet, but no measures were taken to thwart the terror attack on CRPF jawans, he alleged at a press conference on Sunday. He posed a question to Mr Gadkari, as he was he part of the Cabinet discussion.
Mr Ambedkar said that the input was loud and clear as “Before occupying your place of deployment, please sanitise the area properly as there are inputs on the use of an IED (improvised explosive device).”
