NCP chief: Relax conditions of cattle camps
He demanded that the units of fodder given to cattle in the camp be increased.
Mumbai: The NCP chief Sharad Pawar has demanded that the government relax the condition of accommodating only five cattle per day in a cattle camp, and more cattle be accommodated.
After the completion of voting for the Lok Sabha polls in the state, Mr Pawar has embarked on his tour of the drought-affected areas of Solapur and Osmanabad, which are two of the worst hit by drought.
After visiting a cattle camp at Yalmar Mangewadi in Sangola tehsil Tuesday, Mr Pawar expressed concern by saying that support from the state government to farmers and the cattle was insufficient.
He demanded that the units of fodder given to cattle in the camp be increased.
