Ensure safety of all, RSS leader tells Kerala government
Nagpur: The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) on Wednesday asked the left government in Kerala to ensue safety and security of every individual including its members. As part of the nation-wide protests against killing of RSS men in Kerala, RSS at its headquarters organised a massive protest rally near Reserve Bank Square .
Addressing the rally, the RSS general secretary denounced the killing of its cadre in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Bhaiyyaji Joshi said it was the responsibility of the local Communist Party of India (Marxist) to ensure that there were no such excesses.
He said that inhuman killing of swayamsewaks by those linked with left ideologies should be stopped forthwith. He issued a subtle warning by taking a firm stand against such incidents. Joshi said that these days, campuses of universities had become a place for anti-national elements. In the name of freedom of speech, anti-India slogans were being raised which was not justified.
A good number of Swayamsewaks holding placards to protests the CPM government shouted anti CPM slogans. Later, a memorandum was submitted to the district administration.
