MU on Wednesday announced the results of 35 more final examinations.

Mumbai: Acting on the request of students, on Wednesday, the Mumbai University set up a helpdesk for final year examinees who can get urgent confidential statement of marks even before the original mark-sheet reaches them.

The provision is for those students who are likely to go abroad or any other university in India to complete their further education. MU on Wednesday announced the results of 35 more final examinations.

Till now 222 results have been declared out of 477 examinations that were conducted by the varsity in the months of April and May.  According to the Vice-Chancellor, Sanjay Deshmukh all the pending results would be declared on and before August 15.

With the help of this urgent confidential statement of marks or temporary mark sheet, students can enrol their name for admission. This document will have the students’ name, course, date of examination and the remark – pass/fail. Apart from these students, those going to appear for competitive and entrance examinations can use this facility for admission or employment.

“Till now 25 students have approached us for such results, out of these the varsity has sent five results to universities abroad and three to Indian universities and institutes. The rest are in process that would be declared within 48 hours. The varsity treats every application on urgent basis taking maximum care to avoid any kind of academic loss to our students,” stated the PRO of MU.
