Student makes 15 fake accounts to harass teen, held

Mumbai: The Naupada police arrested a 21-year-old college student Darsh Satra for allegedly molesting a 19-year-old teenager residing in Thane.

Satra, a student of Mithibhai College, Vile Parle had created a fake Instagram profile and had been harassing the victim for more than six months.

Realising that Satra was harassing her, the victim blocked him, but Satra went on to create 15 fake email addresses to get in touch with her.

Following the constant harassment, victim registered a case at the Naupada police station.

The police forwarded the details of the fake accounts to the cyber cell. The cops arrested Satra on Tuesday evening from his residence in Thane.
