Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Jitendra Avhad had raised the issue of hospitalisation of Bhujbal in the Assembly on Tuesday.

Mumbai: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed jail authorities to provide good medical treatment to former deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal who has been admitted to J.J. hospital. Mr Fadnavis informed the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Jitendra Avhad had raised the issue of hospitalisation of Bhujbal in the Assembly on Tuesday. He told in the house that, “Bhujbal was the deputy CM and he is not getting proper treatment in the JJ hospital. Jail and hospital authorities have admitted him to the general ward. He has to stand in a queue to perform some tests and ECG. His haemoglobin is down up to 8. It is not good on the humanitarian ground also that he is receiving such ill-treatment.”

CM Fadnavis replied that “The government is not connected with the issue. But now we will ask jail authorities immediately to provide good medical facilities in JJ hospital.”
