Clash of second year Bcom with CA exam averted
Mumbai: The second year B.Com students of the University of Mumbai (MU), who are worried about their examinations clashing with the IPCC group-1 exams, can now heave a sigh of relief.
The varsity on Saturday postponed the exams by one day so that students can give both their degree and Chartered Accountants (CA) exams.
The clash of these two examinations has been happening since the last four to five years.
The advertising paper of the SY B.Com was supposed to be conducted on November 2, while IPCC group 1 exam was also scheduled by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on the same day.
The IPCC exams are scheduled in the month of November every yea, while the varsity declared its dates last month.
A circular issued by Dr. Arjun Ghatule, Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation informed all its affiliated colleges about the new change in the exam timetable.
