SSC results to be announced today
MUMBAI: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 results at 1 pm today. Students can check their results at MSBSHSE official website: www.mahresult.nic.in.
The board conducted the Class 10 examination for the year 2017-18 from March 1 to 24. As per the MSBSHSE board, this year 17.51 lakh students appeared in the entire Maharashtra state out of which 7.78 lakh are girls and 9.73 are boys. In these total numbers of students, 16.3 lakh students are fresh candidates while 67,563 candidates are repeaters while 2,463 students belong in the students with special needs category. The class improvement students are numbered at 46,007.
As far as the Mumbai division is concerned, around 3.83 lakh students took the SSC examination this year at 994 exam centres. Of these, 26,692 students had appeared in private. Out of these, 1,223 students comprised the learning disability category while 513, 353, 89, 37, 27 and 25 students belonged to the deaf, orthopaedically handicapped, blind, autistic, speech-impaired and cerebral palsy categories respectively.
The other sites where the students can check their results are maharashtraeducation.com, examresults.net/maharashtra, results.nic.in/index, Maharashtra.indiaresults.com. To check the SSC results, students need to click on the official link or the aforementioned link and look for ‘Maharashtra SSC Result 2018’ where they can enter their roll number in order to check the results. Students can also download their results and take a printout for future references.
