HC directs CR, WR and BMC to meet regularly

The BMC on Tuesday told the court that the Railways should give them details of expenditure whenever they demand money from BMC.

Mumbai: The Bombay high court today directed the CR, WR and BMC to meet regularly to solve passenger’s problems.

The BMC on Tuesday told the court that the Railways should give them details of expenditure whenever they demand money from BMC. This statement was made after Railways sought Rs 27 Crore to maintain bridges.

The division bench directed Railways to submit the details immediately and also said, “You must also hold regular joint meetings to discuss problems faced by the commuters and find out ways to resolve these problems.”
