Kulbhushan Jadhav joined the Indian National Defence Academy in the year 1987. He joined the Indian Navy in the year.

Mumbai: While Pakistan on Monday announced death sentence for Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav who was arrested on charges of alleged spying, his home in located in Powai’  Hiranandani Gardens, saw a deserted look with cops not allowing the media to speak to the family.

Jadhav who was arrested in March 2016 has Indian government’s backing, which has been consistently claiming that he is a retired Indian Navy officer. The Indian government has also denied the allegation that he was in any way connected to the government’s intelligence agency. However, the Pakistan has accused him of being an undercover agent of India’s primary intelligence agency, RAW and of being involved in propagating sectarian violence in Balochistan. Pakistan has also accused him of helping terrorists financially and claimed that he was involved in Karachi unrest.

On Monday, the police officials from the Powai Police station were seen guarding the building in which the family of Mr Jadhav resided and were only allowing people inside the building. However, Jadhav’s few relatives visited the house, but the watchman of the society claimed that there was no one from the family inside the home currently.
