Mumbai: The bungalows of ministers and the Leaders of Opposition near Mantralaya have been experiencing a water shortage for a week.

Revenue minister Chandrakant Patil, minister of state Dilip Kamble, Leaders of Opposition Dhananjay Munde, Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil and a few others dignitaries have government bungalows nearby Mantralaya.

They have been facing a water shortage for the past few days. “Our employees are fetching water from outside in buckets and jars,” said a source from Mr Munde’s office.

“The bungalow sees hundreds of visitors daily and we need water to prepare their tea and snacks. Many official meetings also take place at the bungalow. We had to call water tankers to cope with the shortage, said an official, who chose to remain anonymous.
