She was happy in life: kritika Chaudhary’s family

Mumbai: Kritika Chaudhary’s family, her mother and brother Deepak arrived in the city from their hometown Haridwar on Wednesday to collect her body from Cooper Hospital.

Speaking to The Asian Age, they said that it was Kritika’s birthday on June 5 and she had last spoken to her mother on June 7. The family said she never complained of any problems in her personal life and was happy with her life. The police have already questioned the family once and are likely to question them again.

Kritika’s brother Deepak Chaudhary said, “She was very happy when she last spoke to my mother on June 7. I had last spoken to her on June 5, her birthday, where I simply wished her a ‘Happy Birthday’. I didn’t know that it would be the last time I would get to talk to her.”

Mr Deepak further added, “She was my only sister and we were very close. She never complained to us about any personal problems or depression that she was facing in her life. Had she discussed this with us, we would have been able to save her”.

The family arrived in the city from Mumbai on Wednesday and were sent straight to the civic-run Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle.
