Police lookout for suspects in actress's murder case
Mumbai: The Amboli police, has zeroed down on two suspects of Kritika Chaudhary’s murder, who had entered the building’s premises late night on June 8th. These two men are suspected to be drug peddlers. The police have sent traces of the powder for testing to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Kalina and are awaiting the results.
Sources told The Asian Age that the deceased’s ‘special’ friend, who has been detained by the police since Tuesday for questioning can be a drug peddler, who used to supply drugs to the deceased model. The friend has allegedly told the police that two men used to visit Chaudhary’s house, often late at night, to supply drugs and party. The watchman told the cops that he had taken two men on the fifth floor on Friday night.
Speaking to The Asian Age, Paramjit Singh Dahiya, DCP Zone-9 said, “We are probing the case from all angles and have not ruled out any prospective possibility. It is very difficult to ascertain the fact of victim’s alleged consumption of drugs as when the body was discovered, it was in a decomposed state.”
These two unidentified men had also visited her flat on Thursday night, when she was allegedly murdered and the duo came back later on Friday night, and asked the watchman if Chaudhary was there at home, to which he tried to call her, but her phone was unreachable. When he escorted the two men to her flat to, he saw that the lights were on but the door was locked from outside.
