BJP will form govt, says Goyal
Mumbai: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and railway minister Piyush Goyal claimed that the BJP would form the government with the 51 per cent of the votes irrespective of the Oppos-ition-led Mahagathbandhan contesting the election. The government will be formed under the BJP-led NDA government with a two-thirds majority, he claimed.
While addressing a press conference at Mumbai BJP’s office in Dadar, Mr Goyal on Friday said that the country had witnessed a “majbo-ot sarkar” (powerful government) and a “majboo-r sarakar” (helpless government) and the people would have to choose the former over the latter in the upcoming elections. The people of the country are very smart, he said.
Naming previous Central governments comprising various fronts and alliances, he said, “The country had seen trouble due to unstable governments. Narendra Modi has given a majboot government.”
The BJP leader claimed that inflation is at a low, Current Account Deficit has been improved and that the economy is roaring.
Terming the recently announced alliance of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) immoral, Mr Goyal said, “We are not bothered about any party’s alliance. The Opposition is free to form an alliance with anyone but this alliance does not have any political ideology and principle.”
