The excess spaces, which are called tidbit' plots, are small plots adjoining buildings.
Mumbai: Twenty days after chief minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the suspension of civicofficials for allegedly protecting illegal structures, BMC commissioner Ajoy Mehta on Wednesday ordered the suspension of Jivak Ghegadmal, assistant commissioner of C ward, along with two other officials.
Mr Mehta on Wednesday signed the order to suspend Mr Ghegadmal, designated officer Rohini Deshmukh and a beat officer from the ward as well. “For now the charge of the C ward has been given to the assistant municipal commissioner of B ward Udaykumar Shirookar,” said a senior civic official.
