Every dog will be named after K'taka gov.'
Mumbai: Mumbai Congress president Sanjay Nirupam on Saturday compared Karnataka governor Vajubhai Vala’s loyalty to that of a dog. “Mr Vala has established a new record in the country in terms of loyalty. Perhaps, every man in this country will now name his dog after Mr Vala as nobody can be more loyal than this.”
Mr Nirupam slammed Mr Vala while commenting on the Karnataka issue. He said that the Congress demanded the resignation of a governor who should have resigned on his own after the Supreme Court order to prove a majority in the legislature struck down Mr Vala’s decision to give 15 days’ time to prove a majority. Mr Nirupam demanded that Mr Vala be removed from the post of governor.
Mr Nirupam said that the Congress demanded the resignation of a governor who should have stepped down on his own after the Supreme Court order to prove a majority in the legislature struck down Mr Vala’s decision to give 15 days’ time to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to prove its majority. Mr Nirupam demanded that Mr Vala be removed from the post of governor.
He added, “Today, democracy has won in the country. People who wanted to rule the world on the basis of their money and their ego have lost. This day will be remembered as the day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah lost.”
