BMS paper was leaked at many colleges: Police

The alleged mastermind behind the leaked papers too has been nabbed.

Mumbai: Two days after the Amboli police arrested a total of 10 persons, including the alleged mastermind behind the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) question paper leak, police is trying to find the names and numbers of all the students involved in the leak. The paper was leaked not just at Andheri’s MVM college but in colleges across the city. The arrested students too are being questioned to reveal the names of other students who had access to the leaked papers. According to police sources, the arrested accused include four students, a mastermind and a few insiders from the Andheri-based college. The police are grilling the accused students to reveal the names of their fellow students, who connived with them to leak the papers of the BMS fifth semester exams, namely the paper on Logistics and Supply Chain Management, that was held on Monday and Marking-Service Marking that was held on Wednesday.

A police officer, investigating the case told The Asian Age on the condition of anonymity, that the students have revealed that the question paper was shared not just at MVM College, but also with students of other city-based colleges. The officer added, “We have narrowed down to three to four city colleges.” Paramjit Singh Dahiya, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 9 said, “The investigation is underway, and upon solid leads, more arrests are likely to be made.”

The cyber police is still locating all the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses which were roped in for assistance to discover the source of the leak as well as the number of students who had downloaded and had access to the leaked paper, said an officer.
