11 properties sealed for defaulting on tax
Its sales office and two administrative offices at Datt Mandir Road in Bhandup West were sealed by the BMC.
Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)’s action against property tax defaulters continued on Tuesday when it sealed 11 properties in the city over non-payment of property tax worth Rs 45 crore.
The sealed properties include plots belonging to HDIL in S ward, Grace Group of Companies in F-North ward, Real Gem Buildtek (DB Realty) in G-South ward, Trade Wing in Kamala Mills Compound, Shripati Investments and Rupaji Constructions at NM Joshi Marg, Deejay Developers and Ackruti Developers and Builders in G-North ward, Vital Developers in N ward and Muldeep CHS in T ward.
HDIl seems to one of the major defaulters with the highest property tax of Rs 15.79 pending. Its sales office and two administrative offices at Datt Mandir Road in Bhandup West were sealed by the BMC.The civic body also sealed three plots of Real Gem Buildtek at Parel.
