Yuva Sena holds protest in Mumbai University campus
Mumbai: A delegation of Yuva Sena, the students’ wing of Shiv Sena, on Monday stomped into the examination house of MU’s Kalina campus to protest delay on the part of the “help desk” set up by the varsity in providing “confidential mark sheets” to students aspiring to study abroad.
Around three MU students had complained to the Yuva Sena as despite passage of 10 to 15 days, the help desk did not provide them with mark sheets.
Following Yuva Sena’s protest where the delegation sat in the office of a senior help desk member the entire day, the said mark sheets were ultimately provided to the students.
Apart from the help desk matter, the political delegation also raised the issue of non-availability of newly-appointed officials such as the acting vice-chancellor, acting PRO vice-chancellor, and acting controller of examinations on such crucial days.
