BJP boycotts tea party, slams MVA govt

The party has boycotted the customary tea party hosted by the state government on the eve of the budget session.

Mumbai: Slamming the state government, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is directionless. The party has boycotted the customary tea party hosted by the state government on the eve of the budget session. Devendra Fadnavis, Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, on Sunday said that there is no communication among the constituents of the MVA.

“An invitation for tea is for better communication. But I think Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) need to improve their communication first. They have not implemented a single promise, clearly showing that they made all false promises,” Mr Fadnavis said.

He, along with Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Pravin Darekar, BJP president Chandrakant Patil and former minister Ashish Shelar, addressed a presser at Mahila Vikas Mandal.
