Mumbai: The city police has started a campaign to spread public awareness about their emergency helpline numbers, citing Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene as role model. On Tuesday, police tweeted the fact that Dixit-Nene and Balan had remembered helpline details on their Twitter handle, “Mumbaipolice” in a bid to spread awareness.
As per the Twitter account, the actresses were part of the police programme Umang. During the event, the actresses were tested on their knowledge on emergency help line numbers existing in the city.
