Bombay HC allows law pupils to give sem 1 exams in semester two
The students had claimed that their admission was delayed due to some lapses on the part of the university.
Mumbai: In a major relief to thousands of LLB students of the University of Mumbai, the Bombay high court on Wednesday permitted them to not appear in the semester one examination, which is to begin on January 29.
The students had claimed that their admission was delayed due to some lapses on the part of the university. Hence, while the first semester classes began from November 1, several students completed their admission processes in December or even in January this year.
The court allowed them to give their semester one papers during semester two exams, provided that they inform their colleges about their decision before January 29.
