They have decided to shut down all markets on Wednesday, excluding the vegetables and fruits market. MKM has also excluded essential services like hospitals, ambulances, schools and colleges from the ambit of the shutdown from the bandh. They have appealed for support for a peaceful bandh.
MKM had organised a Maharashtra bandh on Tuesday, but Mumbai and its surrounding districts were left out as Pandharpur pilgrims were returning home. Now, Mumbai has been included in the Wednesday bandh.
