Youth Cong to kick off programme

The first meeting of this programme will take place on September 27 in Mumbai.

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Youth Congress will start a special programme to reach out to urban and semi-urban youths in the state. The Congress had seen youths deserting the party during the 2014 elections, so it plans to reconnect with the masses ahead of the 2019 elections. The first meeting of this programme will take place on September 27 in Mumbai.

Talking to the press in Mumbai on Tuesday, the newly elected president of the Maharashtra Youth Congress said that the one-day meeting of youth workers would take place in this week. “We will make a plan ready to reach to the youth of Maharashtra. There are many issues such as unemployment, inflation, the Rafale deal, corruption and other things. So, we will take these issues to every youth of the state and make him aware of the Modi government’s real face.”
