Mumbai: For the corporators, office bearers and workers of the Mira-Bhayandar unit, glorifying their political godfather’s on their birthday is not just about plastering the twin-city with flattering banners, but also a tug-of-war with their own party leaders. At loggerheads for quite some time, BJP legislator–Narendra Mehta and former Mayor-Geeta Jain are busy in a game of one-upmanship.
Yet another instance of intra-party tussle came to the light on the eve of the legislator’s birthday on Tuesday when Mr Mehta’s supporters were busy installing banners on outdoor advertising sites.
