Development Plan 2034 delayed by three more months
Vishwanath Mahadeshwar announced in the BMC House on Monday that the state govt had decided to give an extension up to May 19.
Mumbai: The Development Plan (DP) 2034 has been delayed yet again as the state government decided on Monday to grant a three-month extension to it.
Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar announced in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation House on Monday that the state government had decided to give an extension up to May 19. The draft DP was to be sent to the state government by March 20 this year but the recently elected BMC corporators demanded that the civic body should ask the government for an extension so that they could study it properly.
On March 6, the planning committee panel, which was set up to study the public suggestions and objections, had submitted its report to the former mayor Snehal Ambekar.
