Talking to this newspaper, Hasti Vora said, “I don’t believe in mugging up and neither did I go to any coaching classes. I would love to do BA or BMM (Mass-Media) after this, but nothing is final as of now.”
Meanwhile, Mansi Sarawata wants to do engineering or go to IIT to study more. “I used to find chemistry lengthy so I started preparing for the subject much before any other subject. Apart from chemistry, I scored 99 out of 100 in mathematics,” she said. Swetha Chiliveri wants to go for B.Tech in electronics and telecommunication after her class 12. “Physics used to be difficult for me initially but the way my professor taught me, I started addressing each and every calculation or theory in a way that I automatically got ways to solve it. I am in love with calculations now and so I wish to take it further,” Swetha said.
MSBSHSE conducted HSC exams at nine divisions and examinations in 210 subjects were conducted. 3,199 students were awarded marks under the sports section. The board, since 2015-16, gives students marks based on their performance in sports i.e. 15 for state level, 20 for national level and 25 for international level students.
Shakuntala Kale, chairman, MSBSHSE, said, “Students who have failed can appear for supplementary exams to be held in July-August 2018.”
