Bombay HC extends custody of cop on Gadoli case
The chief metropolitan magistrate court has extended custody of accused, Pradyumna Yadav in the gangster Sandeep Gadoli fake encounter case till July 16.
“Already three days custody is over but investigation agency has found nothing so far. There is nothing new in the remand application, therefore further police custody need not be given to the police,” argued Yadav’s lawyer, Samsher Garud.
But SIT demanded extension in custody saying Yadav is not co-operating with the investigation and hiding important information regarding the case.
According to the remand copy, when Yadav was asked about the pistol and cartridges, which were seized from the spot, he constantly avoided an answer.
