Nitin Gadkari promises five crore jobs in 5 years
Union minister Nitin Gadkari has stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government’s economic policy at the Centre would create five crore jobs in five years. “Due to the good work of the BJP-led union and state government, India’s future will change,” he stated.
Mr Gadkari was speaking during the valedictory session of the two-day state BJP executive meeting in Nashik on Sunday.
Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Pradesh president Raosaheb Patil Danve, ministers Eknath Khadse, Vinod Tawde, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Chandrakant Patil, Pankaja Munde, Girish Mahajan, Ashish Shelar, Pandurang Fundkar and others were present on the dais.
Mr Gadkari further said that the BJP had laid stress on an economic policy that could create employment.
“Till date the opposition, through its politics, has used the poison of casteism. They are not interested in development and BJP activists should not be confused by their present propaganda,” he said. Lauding the work of CM Devendra Fadnavis and Pradesh president Raosaheb Danve, Mr Gadkari said that the state government and the party were on the right track. He urged party activists to get information of government schemes and reach them to the people.
“The Union government has laid stress on development of basic infrastructure. The Jalyukt Shivar scheme of the state government is exemplary,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the BJP session passed a resolution praising the Central and state governments. Education minister Vinod Tawde tabled the political resolution. The resolution stated that the BJP governments at the Centre and state were successfully working on development.
However, the Opposition was raking up useless issues for discussions to eclipse these development activities, it stated.
