Descendant of the distinguished T-Series (music label) family, Tulsi has a rich legacy behind to carry forth with responsibility. With late founder Gulshan Kumar as her father and the reputed company’s current producer Bhushan Kumar as her brother, this 29-yearold ‘humming bird’ could have really taken it easy. But she chose to carve her own successful niche.

Upcoming venture: Not an album per se but yeah, I’m doing a single alongwith a video and the music is scored by Arko Pravo Mukherjee. It’s a recreation of a song from the 1990s.
Overseas tour: Yes, but that is slotted towards the end of this year.
Musical collaboration: I will be co-ordinating with a UK-based artiste called Arjun for one of my own songs — Baarish from Yaariyan. We are trying to do a fusion with a perfect mix of Hindi and English music.
