He started singing at the very young age of eight and by 17, was already doing playback. Even though he has also made a foray into acting with two Telugu films under his belt, it is music that, he believes, is his true calling. In a rapid fire, Sreeram shares his musical choices. Excerpts:

Five songs that would feature in the ‘soundtrack’ for your life Main Aisa Kyun Hoon because I am often confused. Angrezi Beat because I love to party. Bhaag Bhag D.K. Bose because it is a unique song to rock to. Aanewala Pal Jaane Waala Hai because I believe that everything will pass, both good and bad. Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars because I am quite romantic.

A song you love to listen to when you’re: Happy and upbeat: Hey Brother by Avicii Really low: Don’t You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia Working out: Break Your Heart by Taio Cruz

Music you loved as a kid or a teenager, that you’re now embarrassed by: I still love all the songs I used to listen to as a child and am not embarrassed by anything.

Your favourite time to listen to music: I love listening to music on speakers when I am driving or when I wake up first thing in the morning.

One band or musician you’d like to perform a private concert for you: Definitely Beyonce.
