Ed Sheeran quits Twitter over 'mean comments' from online trolls
He has decided not to be active on the microblogging website as the platform is mostly used to humiliate others.
London: Singer Ed Sheeran has left Twitter after being blasted with "mean" comments.
The 'Shape of You' hitmaker said he has decided not to be active on the microblogging website as the platform is mostly used to humiliate others, reported Metro.
"I've actually come off Twitter completely. I can't read it. 'I got on it and there's nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter's a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But that's why I've come off it," Sheeran said.
The singer added that talking to his family and friends helps him forget about all of the hate that he gets on social media.
