A professional bodybuilder sporting a hijab is not a sight one sees everyday. But 23-year-old Majiziya Bhanu from Kerala is breaking stereotypes by doing just that.

Bhanu, who has already won several awards for power lifting won Mr Kerala on February 25. The event was organised by body lifting Association and Bhanu won the best woman fitness physique.

What is interesting to note is that the 23-year-old posed in a hijab, and was  probably the only woman in the state to do so. It was her first time in such a contest.
