Mumbai: Legendary Indian cricketer Anil Kumble has been one of the most successful players the country has had.
Having played 403 international games excluding T20Is, the Karnataka cricketer has taken 956 wickets in his 18-year-career.
During his flight from Bengaluru to Mumbai, Kumble just made a cricket fan’s day when the latter asked if she could meet him.
Sohini Mitter, who was in the same flight as Kumble, tweeted, “The legendary @anilkumble1074 in my BLR-MUM flight. Glanced at him once and was reminded of that game in West Indies where he bowled with a bandaged jaw. Teared up a bit. Gawwddd, I'm such a sucker for cricket memories.”
