Ganesh Chaturthi 2018: First look of Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai

Founded in 1934, the idol is believed to be the 'one who fulfills all wishes.'

After 84 years, Lalbaugcha Raja entered their 85th glorious year of the Ganeshotsav. Situated in a narrow bylane of Lalbaug, one of the most famous Sarvajanik Ganpati, Lalbaugcha Raja' was unveiled to media on September 11.

Founded in 1934, the idol is believed to be the 'one who fulfills all wishes.'

Notably, the legendary design of the idol is now patent protected. Devotees, to get a glimpse of their favourite good make two lines. The general line and the 'navas' line. The navas line is for those who wish to worship the elephant-headed god right near His feet.
