UK teen used school bathroom to build $56,000-a-year empire
Nathan John-Baptiste made a fortune when he started selling sweets from his school's bathroom.
The 15-year-old went from selling chocolate bars from his school's bathrooms to selling sweets and fizzy drinks across three schools. As his business progressed the North Londoner started earning close to $1,200 a week.
All that sweet money allowed him to lead a lavish lifestyle not many his age get to enjoy.
Nathan told the Daily Mail he learned how to make money during a talk with a millionaire which was part of a development programme. The talk inspired the boy to buy and sell sweets to the students who attend his school. Pupils would make their orders via Snapchat and then pick up the treats during the break time.
The entrepreneurial teen smart skills earned him the name ‘Wolf of Walthamstow.’
Just when his thriving business was about to make him $56,000-a-year, the school found out and shut it down.
Even though he was discouraged, he still has his eye on the prize and hopes to make million in the future. "You win some, you lose some, but at least this ‘Wolf’ has a winner’s ambition," John-Baptiste told the Daily Mail.
