Victoria Beckham to be honoured by the Queen
The mother-of-four will follow in hubby David's footsteps, 13 years after he received his nod from the Queen.
London: This Christmas was very special for the Beckhams, after Victoria Beckham revealed that she has been named on the Queen's New Year's Honours list.
Expecting an OBE for her fashion empire and body of charity work, the mother-of-four will follow in hubby David's footsteps, 13 years after he received his nod from the Queen, reports the Daily Mail.
According to sources close to the family, the 42-year-old business woman was "delighted and humbled for the recognition." Victoria's eponymous line made a modest debut at New York Fashion Week in September 2008.
The former Spice Girl shot to fame in 1994, as one-fifth of the chart-topping band alongside Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
