Shibani Kashyap Favourite performance: Sting

Shibani Kashyap

Favourite performance: Sting

Sting is my idol and I saw him perform live in Bengaluru way back in 2005. He mesmerised the audience with his singing. Sometimes artistes speak too much and that takes away from their music and performance. He spoke very little in the show and conveyed his message through his songs. I think that made his performance more effective. Shibani is a singer

Shefali Alvares Favourite artist: Coldplay I would recommend everyone to listen to Coldplay, if they aren’t fans of the band already. I think musically, they are very evolved. The lyrics and melodies are so simple yet captivating. Chris Martin has a soothing voice, so much so that you want to stop everything that you’re doing and simply listen to him. Although I started listening to them a few years ago today it’s on top of my playlist — in fact, I listen to them every day. I would love to watch them live some day. Shefali is a singer

Pia Bajpai Favourite film: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai My favourite film of all times is Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film was a perfect blend of emotions, drama, and music. The film is a complete entertainer and one can watch it over and over again. The chemistry between Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan is just perfect, and is one of the main reasons why I keep going back to watching this film. Pia is an actress

Moitrayee Bhaduri Favourite book: The Alchemist The Alchemist is a timeless classic that I never get tired of reading. A friend recommended this book to me in 2003. When I started reading it, I was instantly moved by the simplicity and depth of the story. Since then, I’ve read it often — during good times and bad. It has always given me strength and inspiration and has been a life-changing book in many ways. Though I am smitten by crime-thrillers, The Alchemist is among my all-time favorite books. The best part is that even if you are not an avid reader, you will enjoy it. Moitrayee is an author

Roxanne Bamboat Favourite restaurant: Lima Floral, London I would really recommend Lima Floral in London for a classic Peruvian meal. It’s not a cuisine that is easily available in India. Lima Floral’s menu includes a variety of corn and potato dishes. Since the cuisine has a lot of Japanese and Chinese influences, the menu also had an exhaustive list of dumplings. Then there are chillies and chocolate that is common to the cuisine. If you’re someone who hasn’t tried Peruvian cuisine, this restaurant gives one a fair taste of it. Roxanne is a food blogger

Tanuj Virwani Favourite TV show: House of Cards My favourite show is House of Cards. Kevin Spacey as Francis Underwood has brought a lot of depth to the character with each season. The show is wickedly delicious and keeps you glued to your seats all the time. I can watch House of Cards on repeat any time. Tanuj is an actor
