This was a strong message to Narendra Modi. If Mr Modi can praise himself on Gujarat’s strong economic index, the Congress, too, deserves praise for bringing about landmark legislation, like the Food Security Act, Right to Education Act and Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, that will benefit the people of not only one state but the whole country.
