It is a matter of great honour and pride for India to host its first world ranking snooker tournament, known as the Indian Open, in October this year. The tournament will bring together 64 of the world’s top snooker players, including India’s Aditya Mehta and Pankaj Advani. Unlike sports like cricket, snooker has not got its due share in India.
