Lalbaugcha Raja is the most popular Ganesh idol of the 'Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal', Mumbai. The mandal, formerly known as 'Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, Lalbaug' was founded in 1934 at Lalbaug Market. This is the 65th Shree Ganeshotsav celebration for GSB mandal. The annual 5-day celebrations have begun from 2nd September, 2019 and will continue till 6th September. GSB Seva Mandal was established in the year 1951 on Vijaya Dashami. Few members of their Samaj who were working in Kamala Mills came together to form a team of individuals who could arrange for funerals & related rituals under the banner of GSB Seva Mandal.
