Sushant wants to dance
Sushant Singh Rajput, who has shown off his dancing skills on television, didn’t get to do the same in his debut film Kai Po Che. He says he took off his dancing shoes and put on cricket gloves instead. So did he miss shaking a leg “I can’t ask my director to let me dance in the film, but given a chance, I would love to. I was a dancer before I became an actor, so I am eagerly waiting for a film where I can show off my dancing skills,” he says. Another aspect that Sushant missed out on in his debut was the romantic angle. “Kai Po Che isn’t a typical hero-heroine romance movie. It’s about three friends in the backdrop of what happened in Gujarat between 2000-2002,” Sushant says. As far as reclaiming his romantic hero image is concerned, he has his next film with Parineeti Chopra to look forward to. “That film will showcase my romantic side on screen. We have completed nearly 60 per cent of the shoot and I am glad I got to work with Yash Raj Films and Parineeti Chopra.”
