Ravichandran Ashwin's wife posts picture with actress Trisha; see his quirky reply

Mumbai: Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, who is quite active on social media is known to be a big fan of actress Trisha since his school days.

The off-spinner had also revealed in an interview that he had started a fan club of the actress during his school days. Recently, Ashwin's wife Prithi met Trisha at an event and posted a picture on Twitter, tagging her husband.

“With the absolutely sweteestest @trishtrashers. Here, take it @ashwinravi99", she tweeted.

The 32-year-old responded to his wife in a quirky way by saying, "Can’t handle this anymore.. stop it .. will you @prithinarayanan"

Ashwin was excluded from both of India's Test matches on their ongoing tour of the West Indies. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja pipped the race for the overseas spinner spot of Team India.

"The reason why we picked Jadeja in the first Test was in case we fielded, and the track was damp, with his pace, he would have made life a little awkward for the batsmen,” explained India's head coach Ravi Shastri about the exclusion of Ashwin from the starting squad.
