Kolkata: Sourav Ganguly, who is fondly called ‘Dada’, may have quit international cricket eight years ago, but the former India captain is still drawn to the cricket bat, whenever he gets the chance.

The 44-year-old year-old rolled back the years in Kolkata, when he took-up the ever so familiar stance, not at the Eden Gardens, but in one of the many little by-lanes of North Kolkata.

The pitch was replaced by tarmac, the galleries were replaced by old and dilapidated houses, and the professional broadcast-cameras were replaced by amateur mobile-videographers. However, the support for the Prince of Calcutta still remained the same, as people cheered on, while Ganguly played some of his trademark shots.

Here are the videos.
