Mumbai: India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is known for his explosive and robust batting display has been included in the 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 International (T20I) series against South Africa.

The 25-year-old shared a video on Twitter where he can be seen hitting the ball to all parts of the ground. He also attempted and executed MS Dhoni's trademark helicopter shot.

Dhoni was the big name missing from India's 15-member T20 squad to compete against the Proteas.

"Solid session in the nets today. Can't wait to join up with the boys," Pandya tweeted.

Pandya's last match for India was against New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2019 where the Men in Blue got knocked out of the marquee event.

India are scheduled to play three T20Is and three Test matches against South Africa.
