Mumbai colts shot out Assam for paltry 94 in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy four-day game that started at MCA Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy Ground, Bandra Kurla Complex, on Friday.

Left-arm spinner Sidak Singh took five wicket for the home team in his 15 overs giving away just 33 runs to wrap up the innings in just 46 overs. Sylvester D'souza bagged three wickets at the top to finish with figures of 3/11 in his seven overs. Anjdeep Lad and Tanush Kotian picked one wicket a piece. Left-arm seamer Arjun Tendulkar who started the proceedings after skipper Divyansh Saxena won the toss, was the only bowler among the five utilised by Saxena to return wicket less. The junior Tendulkar who took 5/95 in 26 overs in the second innings of the last match against Madhya Pradesh at the same venue, bowled tightly on Friday giving away just nine runs in 10 overs with six maidens.

Sourav Saha scored unbeaten 52 in 113 balls with seven boundaries. Gunjandeka (16) was the only other batsman to enter double figures for the visitors as their five batsmen failed to open their account.

Mumbai overhauled Assam's first innings score without any loss of wicket with openers Karan Shah and Suved Parkar both scoring half centuries.
