'Muralitharan and McGrath were the toughest one I played against': Yuvraj Singh
Mumbai: Talking about his career after declaring his retirement from international cricket, Yuvraj Singh disclosed that Sri Lankan spin king, Muttiah Muralidharan and Australian slow -medium pacer, Glenn McGrath were the toughest bowlers he played against in his whole career.
Moreover, Yuvraj also shared that his former Australian captain Ricky Ponting and West Indies opener, Chris Gayle are his top foreign cricketers. Yuvraj had played for the Indian team for over 304 ODIs, 58 T20Is and 40 Tests.
Yuvraj Singh will always be remembered for smashing six sixes in an over of Stuart Broad in the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup and for his all-round performance which led to India's 2011 World Cup triumph. Yuvi's all-round performance in the 2011 World Cup earned him the player of the tournament award.
