Banff: Sri Lanka's injured player Nuwan Pradeep's second appointment with the Indian surgeon Raj Bhatia is scheduled for Tuesday, it is learnt here.

"Dr. Raj Bhatia saw him on Sunday after the 33-year-old right arm fast bowler injured his bowling hand finger during the next session. He has been advised to see the doctor again on Tuesday", the Bristol Royal hospital sources, said.

Dr. Raj Bhatia is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who runs the Bristol Hand and Wrist clinic, offering excellence in the treatment of all hand, wrist and peripheral nerve problems.

Raj has received specialist fellowship training in the UK and in Sydney, Australia and is widely recognized in his field. He regularly treats sports injuries, and is the preferred Hand and Wrist Surgeon for both Bristol Rugby Club and Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.

With over 20 years experience, and specialist recognition from all major insurers, it is said that Pradeep can feel assured that he will receive the very best care possible.

In the meantime, Surganga Lakmal will lead the pace attack in the absence of Pradeep. All five pace bowlers played against Afghanistan, where Sri Lanka had won the match at Cardiff. The last match against Pakistan was washed out.
