Mumbai: After West Indies cricketer Rahkeem Cornwall was included in the West Indies squad for the two-match Test series against India starting from August 22, his name became famous as he got involved in a funny on-field incident with Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar last month.

The incident occurred last month when India A were playing against West Indies A in an unofficial ODI series last month.  

When Cornwall went out to the middle, Chahar comes towards him – acting like Corwall, copying his gestures and expressions by making himself big, Chahar walked up to Cornwall to make it seem like he will collide with the West Indies cricketer, but in the last second Deepak Chahar decides to pull himself back. Cornwall, undisturbed, walks on to the pitch.

RAHKHEEM CORNWALL remember the name

Rahkeem Cornwall, who is reportedly said to make his Test debut against India in the Test series will set the record for being the heaviest international cricketer – a record which has seemingly was possessed by Australia’s Warwick Armstrong since the early 1900s.

Cornwall reportedly weighs around 140 kgs, while Armstrong’s weight is said to be around 133 kgs. Cornwall is also around 6 feet 6inches tall, making him one of the most measurable human to play the gentleman’s game.

Cornwall is said to be one of the aggressive all-rounders in West Indies domestic cricket. For Cornwall, scalping five-wicket haul is a matter of joke. Cornwall has an aggressive strike rate down the order. The 140 kg cricketer holds a venomous strike rate and is known for accurate bowling. These all features can make him a future Caribbean great.
